[Komaeda’s low voice spoke softly, maybe a little unsure. He had sort of left without saying anything. But then, it’s not like anyone would have missed him or even noticed his absence!]

I have to confess I’m at a bit of lost as to what happened. I was just lucky I happened not be far away and could find the crash. But, this is a rather troubling development, isn’t it?

I'm curious, how did you miss it?

I went away for a while. So, I've missed the last few months. I guess you could say I took a vacation?

[How does someone miss out by going on vacation and how can she sign up?]

Oh, I see... That's... good, I suppose. Well- If you're not already aware we've lost our ability to use magic recently.

I did notice the magic disappearing. I must confess it was a bit frustrating, though I was a bit surprised how much I've come to rely on magic.

How did you all manage to do that, I'm almost impressed!

I haven't had magic for as long as the others but it is really jarring to suddenly not have it...

We went searching for a relic in a small town called Thay. There was a dragon controlling time but... we failed to retrieve it. This seems to be a consequence of that.

May I ask what path you are on?

[He wondered how such a thing could affect what he assumed was the entire world. It really was a big deal!]

What happened to the relic? Did someone misuse it?

Ah, I'm a practicing warlock. As for the relic, I'm not really sure about the details. I believe we attacked too soon and it was taken from us.
