Hey, guys, I found a thing. A letter, I think it might be something. It's from a guy named Julius Neverember, wizard in Waterdeep, to the overseer at Phandelver mine, Snakgraer Hornbelly.

[If he was familiar with the tag yourself meme, he would invoke it now.]

He's talking about this crazy powerful staff that the overseer sent him that he wants to use to control the weather. Talking about the Elemental Planes, too, which, you know, coincidences are made up. Lemme just read out the whole thing, anyway—

[And he does, because he knows himself well enough to know that if he doesn't, in this state he'll forget something.]

So, yeah, this counts as fucking with powers beyond your understanding as far as I'm concerned and can't mean anything good. Anybody have any ideas about how this might be connected to the floating continent situation?
